Swarm: quartertone pianos and glass [2008]
This is a section from a live, variable-length composition / installation that implements "Particles," a swarm algorithm written in Pure Data by Paul. Vertical position of particles determines pitch; depth determines loudness; and horizontal position determines density of activity. Red particles indicate the quartertone piano instruments, and white particles represent different glass instruments.
